FAQ

Q: What songs do you play?

A: To get a list of the songs we play, go to the Opinion page, and click on the show songs link in the Songs section.

Q: How long is your display going to be up?

A: The display lights up on Friday after Thanksgiving, and is taken down on the first weekend day after New Year's Day. This year, our last night will be January 5, 2013.

Q: What are the hours of the display?

A: The show starts at 5:15, but the best viewing is after it gets dark, at about 5:30. It runs until10:00 p.m., except on Fridays, Saturdays, and Christmas Eve, when it runs until 11:00 p.m. On New Year's Eve it may run even longer.

Q: How did all the neighbors come together for this?

A: One of us had the idea and talked about it with two others, who were eager to be part of it. The next year, another neighbor wanted in. Then, yet another. Who knows where it will stop?

Q: Is this a premade show or did you start from scratch?

A: We started with technology from Light-O-Rama, but all the pieces where put together by us. The music was purchased from various sources, mostly from the links you can find on the opinion page. The voiceovers are by The Demented Elf.
